Another Mystery is Solved

The boys were very excited to solve the mystery reader clues last week. It had been several weeks since our last guest came to read to us, and there were BIG cheers when I announced that a reader was coming on Friday. The boys loved his clues!

1) His hair is NOT black, brown or blond.(This clue really threw the boys for a loop! As if there are no other colors for hair.)
2) When he is playing his favorite sport, he sometimes lands in the sand, the water or the trees.
3) His last name is a musical instrument.
4) His favorite company is named after a fruit that can be red, green or yellow, and is often made into juice or pie.
5) His favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip.
6) He serves lunch at St. Mark's and coaches soccer.

Another Outstanding Wise Learner in Mrs. Carrio's Class

Last week's OWL did a wonderful job sharing about his favorite things and his family. We learned that he loves pizza! He is a terrific basketball player, and his favorite color is blue. The boys really enjoyed listening to him read one of his favorite books, Henry and Mudge. Way to go!

Monster Friends

Another Mystery Has Been Solved!

This week's mystery reader graduated from St. Mark's. He was born in Dallas, but lived in London. His business takes him all over the world. He loves baseball, too.  His son was super excited to have him visit our classroom on Friday.

The boys enjoyed the stories. Thanks for coming, Mr. Marcus!

"OWL" of the Week

This OWL of the Week was a BIG hit! The boys especially enjoyed watching him build a light circuit.
